The Limpopo Department of Education is offering exciting opportunities for EPWP Data Capturers (4 positions) and Casual Labourers (51 positions) for the 2024/2025 financial year. This initiative aims to enhance skills development and provide employment within various districts of Limpopo.

EPWP Data Capturer (4 Positions)

  • Ref No: LDoE 01/05/2024
  • Status: 10 Months’ Contract
  • Rate: R 350.00 per day
  • Workstation: Head Office, Polokwane

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) Certificate; a three-year diploma or degree is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using EPWP reporting systems

Skills Required:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Accurate data capturing abilities

Duties:

  • Generate exception reports on captured data
  • Compile lists of expected EPWP reports
  • Reconcile and advise on outstanding reports
  • Capture allocated EPWP reports
  • Assist in preparing inputs for branch reporting mandates
  • Ensure data quality assurance

EPWP Casual Labourers (51 Positions)

  • Ref No: LDoE 02/05/2024
  • Status: 10 Months’ Contract
  • Rate: To be confirmed

Workstations:

  • Head Office: 25 posts
  • Various districts including Capricorn, Mopani, Mogalakwena, Vhembe, Sekhukhune, and Waterberg: 3 posts each

Responsibilities: Casual Labourers will report to delegated supervisors for tasks including reporting, monitoring, and following work instructions. They will manage attendance registers and contribute to local community development.

Selection Criteria:

  • Preference given to local municipality residents
  • Up to 20% of participants may be from nearby municipalities if skills are lacking locally
  • Emphasis on unemployed individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those with disabilities and recipients of social grants
