Internship Details

Location: South Africa
Stipend: R9,306 per month
The MQA is inviting applications from qualified individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme.
- Must have a Grade 12 or Matric certificate.
- Must hold a National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6 in the Financial and Accounting field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent at NQF Level 7 in the Financial and Accounting field will be an added advantage.
Intern Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful intern will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
- Processing invoices on accounting software
- Processing electronic payments
- Creditor’s statement reconciliations
- Processing journals
- Creditors control account reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Financial internal controls
- General administration in a finance environment
- Other tasks as delegated by the supervisor

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of legislation and developments related to education and training
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office packages
