Main Responsibilities
As an In-Service Trainee, you will be expected to:
- Complete all Learnership Requirements: This includes training attendance, assessments, project completion, logbook completion, and presentations as required by Unilever.
- Manufacturing Line Operations: Participate in general manufacturing line operations, including packing, cleaning, and conducting quality checks.
- Follow SOP Procedures: Adhere to standard operating procedures within the assigned operations.
- Safety and Quality Compliance: Ensure conformity to all site rules governing safety, quality, and business principles.
Key Requirements
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 with a minimum 50% pass mark in Core Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Relevant Studies: Currently completing a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Food Technology, and require P1/P2 work experience.
- Laboratory Experience: Familiarity with laboratory environment, procedures, and practices.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
