For the Financial Year 2025, Gold One Modder East Operation is offering apprenticeship opportunities for both internal and external candidates. The gold mine is situated approximately 30kms East of Johannesburg, in the Gauteng Province.
Available Apprenticeships:

- Instrumentation Apprenticeships: 2 positions
- Plumbing Apprenticeships: 2 positions
Requirements:
- Completed N2 in Instrumentation or Civil Engineering (Certified copy of certificate).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts.
- Ability to work underground.
- South African Citizenship.
- Clear criminal record (candidates will undergo criminal screening before engagement).
- All candidates must be medically fit.
- Must be over 18 years old.
Location Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates residing within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, specifically from Municipal Wards 71, 72, 73, 75, and 97. Proof of residence is required. However, other deserving candidates from the Far East Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality are also encouraged to apply.
