Internship Job Profile
As an intern, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks, including:
- Administrative Support: Handling correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting budgeting processes.
- Data Management: Assisting in data collation and preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
- Meeting Coordination: Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and assisting with presentations.
- Rotational Experience: Gaining exposure to different tasks and divisions within a specific department.
Core Competencies
Throughout your internship, you will develop:
- Knowledge of CETA and SETA Landscape: Understanding CETA’s role as a corporate and public entity, and the broader SETA landscape.
- Theoretical and Practical Knowledge: Gaining insights into regulatory laws, frameworks, and policies, including the Skills Development Act and PFMA.
- Professional Skills: Enhancing your administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a South African citizen under 35 years of age with a valid South African ID.
- Hold a relevant post-matric qualification from a recognized institution.
- Have not participated in any previous SETA-sponsored internship programme.
- Have no prior employment experience.
- Submit a detailed CV, a motivation letter, and certified copies of your ID and academic qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications Considered
- ND in Business Management or Project Management
- ND/BTech/Degree in Office Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, or Business Administration
- ND in Management Assistance or Administration
