Responsibilities and Duties
As a Receptionist in the Manufactured Timber Products Division, you will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including but not limited to:
- Performing general administrative tasks.
- Scanning and saving timber intake notes to the public drive after verifying all information is correct.
- Capturing timber intake data on Excel spreadsheets.
- Capturing TWK timber tickets on the AS400 system, including verification, scanning, and saving to the drive.
- Following up on queries.
- Supervising weighbridge clerks.
- Assisting with tasks when the invoice clerk or weighbridge clerk are unavailable.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary skills:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- At least 2 years of work experience in an administrative and financial position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Being trilingual is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the timber industry is advantageous.
