Main Responsibilities
As a Technical Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting with breakdowns and maintenance of equipment on site.
- Conducting daily inspections and completing checklists.
- Helping with tasks in the workshop.
- Ensuring quality work and proper housekeeping.
- Receiving on-the-job training.
- Standing by for additional duties as needed.
- Complying with customer procedures and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Grade 12 qualification.
- Experience in the mining industry.
- A technical background with good product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- A valid driver’s license.
