Sassa Grant Payment Dates – June 2025

Sassa distributes permanent grants during the first week of each month, beginning on the second working day. No payments are made on weekends or public holidays.

  • Older Persons Grants: Tuesday, 3 June 2025
  • Disability Grants: Wednesday, 4 June 2025
  • Children’s Grants: Thursday, 5 June 2025

Sassa Grant Amounts – June 2025

The confirmed grant amounts for June 2025 are as follows:

  • Old Age Grant: R2315

  • Child Support Grant: R560
  • Grant-in-Aid: R560

Sassa Grant Increases for 2025

During the 2025 Budget Speech, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana announced two phased increases for Sassa grants:

  • First increase: Implemented on 1 April 2025
  • Second increase: Scheduled for 1 October 2025
