Key Responsibilities
As a Process Trainee, you will gain practical work experience that will enhance your employability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing the development plan within 6 months from the date of commencement.
- Undertaking section-specific training curriculum as per position profiles within the agreed timeframe.
- Meeting performance standards as defined in the development plan and curriculum.
- Completing general and plant-specific induction.
- Completing legal training as per mill and section requirements.
- Maintaining a high level of good housekeeping in the workplace at all times.
- Conducting regular Behavioural Based Safety observations.
- Achieving plant licensing competency within the agreed timeframe of the training plan.
- Maintaining good working relationships with assigned coaches and mentors in the section.
- Keeping the training program up to date and communicating any barriers to progress.
- Adhering to the Code of Ethics.
- Participating in shift activities when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Matric with Maths and Science or N3 Pulp and Paper or relevant N3 Engineering Studies.
- No prior work experience required.
- You should be unemployed.
- Age between 18-25 years.
- Permanently reside within 50km of Ngodwana Mill.
- Attach your original latest proof of residential address, certified copy of RSA ID, and highest qualification.
