Annual Progression: Up to R362,994 per annum, subject to satisfactory performance

Key Responsibilities
As the Personal Assistant to the Director-General, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Your duties will include:
- Managing the Director-General’s Diary: Prioritize and schedule meetings and appointments.
- Preparation of Meeting Documents: Inform the Director-General of commitments and prepare necessary documents.
- Correspondence Management: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
- Document Management: Establish and maintain a filing and document management system.
- Follow-Ups: Track issues raised by the Director-General and follow up with stakeholders.
- Drafting Summaries: Create summaries of documents for the Director-General’s review.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate local and international travel, accommodation, and prepare subsistence and travel claims.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as requested by the Director-General.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: A Senior Certificate and a Diploma in Office Management, Office Administration, or Business Administration at NQF level 5, as recognized by SAQA.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in providing support services to senior management or in a similar office administration role.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Public Service Regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to work extra hours when necessary.
