More About the Glencore Bursary Programme – Expenses Covered & Obligations
The Glencore Bursary covers various expenses, including:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Residence fees
- Meals
- A monthly cash allowance for incidental expenses
- Financial assistance for purchasing a personal computer (from the second year of study, if prescribed by the University)
Bursary recipients will be required to participate in paid vacation work for a minimum of 6 weeks per year and “work back” the bursary funding, equal to one year for every year of study funded.
Eligibility Requirements for the Glencore Bursary
To be eligible for the Glencore Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Matric or currently in Matric
- Studying or intending to study towards a qualification in one of the listed fields
