About the Internship
The Revenue Call Centre Internship focuses on providing top-notch customer service, primarily through telephone and written communication. As an intern, you will be tasked with handling account queries, using available resources to resolve revenue-related issues on the first point of contact, and escalating unresolved queries to the relevant departments. You’ll be expected to meet or exceed the performance targets set by the R & CRM department while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log and resolve all revenue account-related queries following the City’s operational procedures.
- Maintain electronic records and data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with customers, peers, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
- Utilize operational assets and resources efficiently within the legislative framework of the City’s policies.
Requirements:
- A Grade 12/Matric certificate.
- Must reside in Johannesburg.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Applications).
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of billing concepts and the ability to handle pressure.
