How to Apply for Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality Work Integrated Learning 2024

The Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality is excited to offer a valuable opportunity for unemployed youth to participate in the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for 2024. This 12-month programme is designed for young individuals who reside in the Oudtshoorn municipal area, including Dysselsdorp, De Rust, and the surrounding rural areas. If you are a TVET College student needing to complete the practical component of your studies, this programme is for you.

Basic Requirements

To qualify for the WIL Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

  • TVET College Students: Must need to complete the practical/experiential component of their studies.
  • Qualifications: Submit certified copies of completed National Introductory Certificates N4, N5, and N6.
  • Citizenship: Be a South African citizen and provide a certified copy of your ID.
  • Residency: Reside within the Oudtshoorn municipal area and provide proof of residential address.

Fields of Study

The WIL Programme is open to students pursuing the following qualifications:

  • National Certificate: N6 Public Management
  • National Certificate: N6 Business Management
  • National Certificate: N6 Human Resource Management

How to Apply

Step 1: Obtain the Application Form

  • Download the prescribed application form from the Municipal website or collect it from the HR: Support Services office.

Step 2: Prepare Your Application

  • Complete the application form.
  • Attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Include certified copies of your qualifications and ID (not older than three months).

Step 3: Submit Your Application

  • Address your application to Mr. R.S. Claassen, HR Manager: Support Services, Human Resources Department, Oudtshoorn Municipality, Voortrekker Road, Oudtshoorn, 6620.
  • Submit your application in person.
