The non-profit company is on the lookout for a versatile Communications Graduate Trainee to join their vibrant Communications team, reporting to the Communications & Publications Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A degree in Communications, Brand Communication, or Marketing Management, preferably with courses in digital marketing, events management, or information systems.
- Candidates with a degree in Environmental Sustainability, BSc, or BSocSci Environmental Sciences may also be considered, provided they have practical experience or skills in communication management through volunteer work or personal projects.
Knowledge and Experience
- Having at least 1-year relevant work experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with online content management tools, such as social media platforms or WordPress.
- Experience in digital marketing campaign management (e.g., Google AdWords, digital content campaigns).
- Exposure to managing hybrid events (in-person and online via Zoom, MS Teams, or Google Meet).
- A strong understanding or interest in the green economy, sustainability, the environment, or social development is highly valued.
Competencies and Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a versatile team and independently.
- Initiative, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and planning skills.
- High levels of professionalism and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google applications; knowledge of open-source design software like Canva is a plus.
- Experience facilitating online events and supporting in-person event logistics.
Position Details
- Contract Duration: Full-time, 12-month contract with a three-month probation period. Renewal will depend on performance and organizational needs.
