The Free State Department of Social Development is excited to announce multiple openings for Community Development Practitioners (Grade 1). This role is crucial in fostering community growth and facilitating development programs across various districts in the province.   • Mangaung District, Bloemfontein Office: 3 Posts
  • Lejweleputswa District, Welkom Office: 1 Post
  • Thabo Mofutsanyana District, Bethlehem Office: 5 Posts

Salary: R263,667 per annum (OSD salary package) plus benefits.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate.
  • An appropriate three-year tertiary degree (NQF level 7) in Community Development or Bachelor of Social Sciences (Human and Societal Dynamics).
  • Exposure to a community development environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to conduct research, facilitate programs, and work with legislation for effective community interventions.
