His political consciousness was sparked in 1992 when his uncle was jailed by the apartheid police for involvement in liberation activities. Ndlozi’s own involvement in politics began during his time at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he was active in youth movements and international solidarity causes.
Political Career
Ndlozi joined the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and was elected to the National Assembly in 2014. He was also the first official spokesperson for the EFF until his resignation in 2020, replaced by Vuyani Pambo. Known for his fierce critiques of the ruling party, Ndlozi has been involved in several high-profile parliamentary disruptions, notably against former President Jacob Zuma.
