Job Description

As a Desktop Engineer Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Coronation’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line IT support
  • Building, configuring, and implementing end-user devices
  • Managing user accounts on the CFM domain
  • Timely resolution of Helpdesk tickets
  • Supporting internal development applications and troubleshooting software issues
  • Maintaining security software and supporting audio-visual equipment
  • Configuring new technologies and handling ad hoc duties as required

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Excellent documentation skills for resolving technical issues
  • A relevant B-Tech or Bachelor’s degree in IT
  • MCSE and A+ certifications
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the IT field
  • Effective communication and active listening skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other basic IT systems
