Job Description
As a Desktop Engineer Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Coronation’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line IT support
- Building, configuring, and implementing end-user devices
- Managing user accounts on the CFM domain
- Timely resolution of Helpdesk tickets
- Supporting internal development applications and troubleshooting software issues
- Maintaining security software and supporting audio-visual equipment
- Configuring new technologies and handling ad hoc duties as required
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Excellent documentation skills for resolving technical issues
- A relevant B-Tech or Bachelor’s degree in IT
- MCSE and A+ certifications
- A willingness to learn and grow in the IT field
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other basic IT systems
