Purpose Statement
As an ATM Assistant (Bank Better Champion), you will be responsible for welcoming clients, coordinating branch flow through efficient queue management, providing excellent client service, and assisting clients at the ATM. Additionally, you will complete transactions on remote or self-service channels, gaining the knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting.
Experience
Minimum:
- No prior experience required, but must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate
Ideal:
- Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Ideal or Preferred:
- Additional qualifications or experience related to client service or banking
Knowledge
Minimum:
- Basic calculations
- Understanding of how to engage with people
- Clarity and understanding of personal aspirations, being ambitious, and eager to learn
Ideal:
- Knowledge of bank branch environments
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal)
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills
