About the Traffic Officer Learnership Programme:
The Traffic Officer Learnership Programme is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in Road Traffic Management. Over three years, learners will engage in practical training and coursework to become qualified traffic officers. This programme not only provides a chance to learn but also offers a monthly stipend, making it a great opportunity for young people who want to earn while they build their future.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this Learnership, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Education: Grade 12 Certificate or Vocational National Certificate L4.
- Documents Needed:
- A valid South African Identity Document (RSA ID).
- Police Criminal Clearance Report (issued within the last 3 weeks).
- Medical report stating fitness for physical activity.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8, 10, or 14).
- Proof of Residence (from Municipality or Traditional Council).
- No visible tattoos.
Important Notes:
- Applicants must not have participated in any previous Public Service Learnership Programmes.
- Those aged 36 or older at the time of enrollment are not eligible.
- Applications with qualifications beyond Grade 12, like post-matric certificates or short courses, will not be accepted.
