Bursary Benefits:
Upon completing your degree, you’ll be required to either serve articles or participate in training with AGSA, giving you hands-on experience in the field of Chartered Accountancy.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Matric students (applying for 1st year in 2025):
- Minimum 60% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Minimum 60% in English
- Matric exemption with university entrance
- Intend to study one of the listed CA qualifications
- 1st year students (applying for 2nd year in 2025):
- Minimum 60% in Financial Accounting
- Intend to enter 2nd year of study in 2025
- 2nd year students (applying for 3rd year in 2025):
- Minimum 60% in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting
- Intend to enter 3rd year of study in 2025
- Final year students (applying for postgraduate studies in 2025):
- Minimum 55% in all core modules
- Accepted into the CTA programme
Additional requirements include fluency in English, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to success.
