Eligibility Requirements for the TuksSport Bursary
To qualify for the TuksSport Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a full-time registered and accepted student at the University of Pretoria for the 2025 academic year
- Must excel in one of the specified sporting disciplines
Selection of bursary recipients is based on several factors, including prioritization within the TuksSport clubs, national and international rankings, potential for international competitions, and participation in major sporting events.
How to Apply for the TuksSport Bursary
Application Process:
- Complete the Application Form: Visit the TuksSport Bursary Application Form 2025 relevant to your sport and fill out the online application.
- Indicate Source: In the application form, specify that you learned about the TuksSport Bursary from “mynewsroom.co.za”.
- Submit Required Documents: Ensure you include the following documents with your application:
- A full-length action shot photograph of yourself (A5 size in jpeg format)
- Grade 11 school results (if currently in Matric and entering your first year of study in 2025)
- Sports Curriculum Vitae detailing your sporting performance history, current training plans, and other achievements
- Sports Performance Support Application (emailed to you upon completing the online form)
- Any additional information or achievements relevant to your application
- Parental Consent (if under 18): Applicants under 18 years old must have their application signed by a parent or legal guardian.
