1. Administrative Assistant/Committee Coordinator (12-month contract) – REF NO: 2024/17

Salary: R216,417 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Location: Pretoria

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate in Office Management/Secretarial Studies
  • At least one (1) year of experience in office management and administration
  • A post-matric qualification will be an added advantage

Core Competencies:

  • Client orientation, customer focus, and excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Honesty, integrity, planning, and organizing skills
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and office management

Duties:

  • Develop and manage an efficient filing system and document flow within the unit
  • Provide secretarial support services to the House and coordinate meetings, workshops, and public hearings
  • Draft agendas, minutes, memoranda, and manage the Chairperson’s diary
  • Provide administrative support services, including managing logistics for meetings and maintaining office inventory

2. Data Capturer – REF NO: 2024/18 (X1 POST)

Salary: R183,279 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level 4
  • At least one (1) year of experience in data capturing and/or data management
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Access is essential
  • A post-matric qualification will be an added advantage

Core Competencies:

  • Advanced computer literacy, typing proficiency, and report writing
  • Strong interpersonal relations, teamwork, and communication skills

Duties:

  • Capture data into required formats, including databases and spreadsheets
  • Maintain data quality, verify missing data, and resolve errors
  • Ensure data backups, update registers and statistics, and manage records and files
  • Provide administrative support to the Commission
