Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the Barloworld Apprenticeship Programme, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Grade 12/Matric certificate with N3 level mathematics and physical science or a Foundational Learning Certificate (FLT).
- Trade Subjects: N2 or higher in Mathematics, Science, Trade Theory, and Technical Drawings.
- NCV4 Subjects: Mathematics, Physical Science, Industrial Science, Diesel Trade Theory, Technical Drawings, and/or Electrical Trade Theory.
- Driver’s License: A valid Code B driver’s license (to be obtained before the trade test).
- Skills: Basic analytical ability, technical/mechanical reasoning, numerical reasoning, and spatial visualization.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
