Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the Work Integrated Learning/In-Service Training programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Student Status: Must be enrolled at a registered institution under the Department of Higher Education & Training.
- Completion of Theoretical Learning: Must have completed all theoretical coursework required by your institution.
- Confirmation Letter: Provide a signed letter from your institution confirming the need for work integrated learning/in-service training.
- Residency: Must reside within Umzimvubu Local Municipality’s jurisdiction (including Mount Frere – Kwa Bhaca and Mount Ayliff – eMaXesibeni).
- Supporting Documentation: Submit a comprehensive application package including:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copies of educational certificates
- Copy of South African Identity Document (ID)
- Completed application form (available on the Municipal website)
- Ward Councillor Endorsement: A proof of residence from the Ward Councillor must be included with the application.
